Digital Media
My interest in digital technologies emerged out of an interest in expressing ideas through traditional forms of media, including 35mm photography, 16mm film, analog video, and illustration.
Transitioning to digital media software for video and image editing led to opportunities in graphic and web design.
Graphic and Web Design
I had the opportunity to work as a graphic and web designer for a company that provided print and digital marketing assets to companies in the Software Development and Mining and Exploration industries, including the PDAC, Kinross Gold, and many others.
I designed and unified branding between print, web, and tradeshow booths, posted news releases, edited and optimized videos and images, and created animated banner Ads.
Video Production
I worked as a videographer and an editor for an event management production company. I was responsible for editing, colour correction, and sound design for weddings and corporate events.
Traditional Media
The following self-directed initiatives include documenting my son and daughter in portraits as they have grown up, the first in a series of Google Maps "found" landscapes (coordinates included), and illustrations inspired by drawing lessons at our kitchen table.
